Couldn’t agree more. Electric delivery vans are popping up in Europe like crazy. Seems like a no-brainer, just on fuel savings alone.

Frontier Pro-4x crew cab with a six-speed stick for the win! It’s basically unchanged since 2005, so it’s very dialed in.

The vehicle part of the VW tie up is largely for Europe (commercial vans).

I hear you there. We had a (FIAT) 500E, and then an i3 REx, but don’t have cold weather to contend with.

Do you precondition the cabin and the battery? Or is that without it being plugged in before departure?

Just when the belt line couldn’t get any higher...

Because this car’s beltline is so low and the A-pillar is so thin, the interior is nice and airy.

Hahahhaha. Love this.

This.

“I used to be cool.”

True that. Willys trucks and wagons had them until mid-1950.

Yes. The other option was to pick two vehicles: the all-electric Nissan NV200 minivan and then an all electric Mercedes Sprinter. Instead, the USPS is going for one and by the look of the five semi-finalists, it’s going to be.... interesting.

Why or why not? If not, are you considering one?

This.

This.

Hahahahhaha. You’re my hero - both for the quote and the Pacifica PHEV (which I love).

1928-1931 Model A had a floor-mounted starter button.

Our local utility has heavily subsidized programs just for apartments and condos. I think the minimum number of charging stations is 10.

The Volt was awesome tech and gen 2 was even better, but the small cabin and high beltline (Cessna 172 anyone) was basically the opposite of the white-hot crossover.
