Agree completely. In another thread, a two sentence comment I made about evil Republican policies was much reproached as not being sufficiently vitriolic toward shitty Democrats. Sorry, as in this instance, Republicans are currently proposing the worst, dehumanizing laws in the land. Fuck them.

In CA foster care, the goal is 18 months: the parent has that amount of time to access services and fulfill requirements to be reunited with the child. They try to place children with relatives first, then resort to other options. If nothing is resolved in 18 months, they move to make the child available for adoption.

Apparently I made a huge mistake by writing two sentences rather than a tome that outlines all racist acts/policies/legislation by all political parties from the Lincoln era to the present! Also, I should have included a history of drug prohibition in the US!
