To quote His Clarkson-ness: “He who is last, shall be sideways and smiling.”

Well, there goes that eX-Driver idea

They should make sure to Pace themselves

Oh man, Kristen, your commentary and photos for this article are incredible. I need to get me to a Formula Drift event here in the Midwest ASAP.

Ken, as always, amazing photos. I squealed like a five-year-old on Christmas when I heard about the Delta restomod, and I would love to one day talk to Signore Amos. It isn’t a return to production, but I’m glad the Delta—and Lancia as a whole—is getting more love.

I like to think the golfer was just trying to practice for joining the eX-Driver team, but didn’t have one of their fancy goop-guns, so they improvised.

At least it wasn’t sliced up.

My NB had about 73k on it when I bought it last year, but it was a second car for the previous owner. It’s my DD, and I’m enjoying every minute.

This is Very Important News. I loved the style—and the tech—of the Elasticycle, and it got me inspired to do some digging on an Oppo post I’m working on: I think the Elasticycle is feasible in the real world.

Backpacked up to Pike’s Peak a few years ago, I’ve been trying to organize a cycling trip from Chicago to the top in time to watch the Hill Climb; the view from the top was transcendental.

You make it sound like road-tripping a small, stick, Mazda hatchback is a BAD thing

I’m just glad the FiST stays alive for one more year.

I still remember the only car my parents ever had that came with leather seats: a ‘94 (or theareabouts) Cadillac DeVille. Low enough that my friends and I could climb onto the trunk and sit on the roof, ridiculously big—from a 5-year-old’s perspective—and had ashtrays full of candy wrappers.

It may have just sat on the metal long enough to eat through the oxide coating? But you’re right, that is weird

My father was in the Polish Army, and he constantly reminds me every time I bring up the latest horsepower figures of performance cars that he drove a 150-hp, gasoline-powered truck to cart around chemicals, and that was ‘enough’ power.

Let’s hope they don’t lose their way

While this may not come up, based on your review period, is there any evidence that the Type R has any over-heating issues whilst on the road? I’ve heard about some over-heating issues on the track, but not everyone’s experienced them there, nor have they seen anything like that during street driving

Thank you so much, and I wish you all the best in recovering (which I should have said before)
