That's exactly why I'm going back to waitressing. I hurt more sitting at a desk all day than I did then! I've got lower back problems now and thoracic outlet syndrome, plus I think I'm developing carpal tunnel. I'm out! :)

I had a job like that. Hell.

I totally understand the boredom part - after two years at a desk job, I've put in my notice to go back to waitressing. I've felt like my brain has been rotting for the last year. Serving has a myriad of its own problems, but I'd rather have sore feet than the carpal tunnel I'm developing now.

I just finished <i>Raising Steam</i> a few days ago! I love how he's developing the technology of the Disc while still being ... quirky. :)
