There’s still one Boston Market left here in San Jose.  But with that said, it has literally been decades since I last ate at one.

Goddammit, I love fried potatoes.

I prefer to position my hands at 9 and 3; I can make smoother inputs that way and both my cars have the wheel spokes positioned almost perfectly for that position.

I used to brag about my ability to drive a stick shift with a cheeseburger in my left hand and a Super Big Gulp between my legs.  That was back in my 20's; now that I’m 53 I don’t think I should have been proud of that.

My wife thinks she’s a good driver because of #2. Somehow it never occurred to her that the number of auto accidents she’s been in suggest otherwise.

Here in California, all it takes for that to happen is a light drizzle.

Not 4, not 6, 5 is the perfect amount.

Two words:  situational awareness.  I wish more people had it.

It isn’t rusty enough.

He might have gotten further if he hadn’t hit the Jack In The Box drive-thru. I don’t know about those in Houston, but every Jack I’ve been to in California has had really slow service.

You could make the argument that tooth replacements are essential to a degree. As I mentioned in my original comment, I lost an incisor. I’m not the sort to just smile all the time to start with, but now I’m really careful not to smile just because I don’t want anyone to see I’m missing a front tooth. I altho notith

A haiku about my car....

This is not the vehicle I never knew I needed. It’s the vehicle I knew I never needed. And call that color Sunset Bronze Pearl all you want; to most of us it’s still Old Man Tan.

Some ask why.  Others ask why not.

I’m looking at about a six-month process and over $7,000 to have this incisor replaced with an implant. It starts with a root extraction (the only part of the process my dental plan covers) and a bone graft next month.

It would summon a Diet Coke.  And bourbon.

That color suits the Leaf well.  And I like the look of the black roof.
