Once, when my dad was changing the thermostat on our ‘78 Buick, he found a socket (don’t remember the size, but not a 10mm) inside the thermostat housing. He determined he’d probably dropped it in there during the previous thermostat replacement.

I’m still sad about GT1 falling by the wayside.  Those Aston DB9R’s were the shit.

And yet the Germans are still fairly well represented in GT3.  Of course that might not last either; there are plenty complaining about how expensive that class has become.

Mine had manual locks (as does the ‘90 that replaced it) and would stick in the locked position. I could eventually get it to unlock, but it took so much time I just stopped locking the driver’s door.

Do that and you’re asking to have your car vandalized rather than stolen.

Pretty kitties.  I have three, one of whom is a feral rescue.

On one of the occasions someone got into my car (I wouldn’t call it a break-in - the car was not only unlocked, but parked with the top down), all they took was two rolls of pennies from the glovebox.  They apparently missed the $70 pair of Ray-Bans in the center console and ignored the $350 Alpine head unit.

I leave my Miata unlocked and keep nothing of value in it.  I’d rather not have my soft top slashed (which has happened once).

The last time I got serious about losing weight, the biggest change to my diet was cutting my alcohol consumption back to nearly none. Combined with walking 4-6 miles a day, that helped me drop a little over 30 pounds over the course of eight months.

Glaaaaaaasss pockets!

I had that problem with the driver door on my departed ‘91 Miata.  Guess it wasn’t just me after all...

Same here - I never lock my Miata either.  I’d rather have it merely broken into than broken into AND vandalized.

These kids are probably coming into their Rolex 24 drive with a few years of karting under their belts. Maybe even a couple years’ experience driving actual cars - SCCA will now grant a comp license to 14-year-olds.

I’ve seen that 962 at the Historics a few times.

Yawn.... it’s just another black race car...

Obligatory...

He’s just looking for a pizza the action.

He couldn’t have just waited a few minutes? Or maybe even put it in the fridge for a bit?

Sounds about right.  The company I worked for went bankrupt a few years after I left.

Yo dawg!
