I must be the only person around that adores this car. It’s beautiful and a HUGE turn around for Maserati as of late. I haven’t lusted after a Maser in decades, and never thought I would again... but here we are.

It is surprising. given that every Dodge they sell is on that platform, that the Magnum didn’t continue on in life. I always thought it was the most interesting car of this series of cars.
You coulda had that repaired at southern Vermont’s premier frame builder, just a bit south of Ascutney: http://www.frankthewelder.com/
I think it helps that FCA’s products are well styled. Everything I can think of off the top of my head is handsome and clean, without relying on flavor of the week gimmicks, fake vents, floating roofs, weird C pillars, running lights that zig zag up to the A pillar, etc.
“I am one who wrangles”
Yeah, let’s take a perfectly good AP1 S2000 and stupid it up beyond recognition.
Knitting doesn’t require a sewing machine but I do have a matching set of 3 pair purple heart knitting needles in traditional widths PLUS a circle needle that have lovely patina and were used by a Luthern ministers wife. Let me know if you’re interested. No low ballers - I know what I have.

Hayabusa is Peregrine Falcon in Japanese. Eats blackbirds. Honda CBRXX Super Blackbird is clearly the implied target.
Honda’s QC department rides like I did. Full Face Arai or Shoei and earplugs. No Whistle.
The most horrifying thing about this abomination is... I like it. I really do. The matte black doesn’t do it for me, but with an interesting paint job and a little chrome it could look pretty neat.
Better than saying a Land Rover or Alfa Romeo if needed reliability.
Porsches are actually pretty reliable, it’s just that if anything does break it’ll annihilate your wallet and maintenance isn’t much better. I mean Porsche is the same company that kept beating Toyota at LeMans because their cars were actually more reliable on the track.
Porsches are incredibly reliable though. It’s just expensive when something does break, and things break on any car.
Hey, he could have been looking for a used Range Rover.
I’m not gonna lie, the FTR is a damn good looking bike, and is the only domestic I would seriously consider.
He’s not scared of the motorcycle, he’s scared of his wife. Probably smart.
Other than the nervousness of learning an inherently dangerous new skill I’m not overly scared beyond what I’d consider rational. I’m not going to act like a tough guy and pretend I don’t recognize it’s dangerous. My wife, however, has had the husbands of two of her employees taken off life support in the last 6…
You know, I’ve been riding bikes for years, and I’m pretty damn sure the ratio of male to female attention I get is probably 100:1. And that one girl is most usually also a fellow rider.
