The issue is this: pools have been a staple of the Sims franchise since the very first base game in 2000. Toddlers have been an expected life stage since The Sims 2's launch. These are mainstays, staples of the series. They're not the first thing the studio would cut.

Oh, yeah. Maybe you guys here at Kotaku aren't hardcore Simmers, but speaking as one, the entire Sims community is raring right now because they took everything that they gave us on Sims 2 and 3. Sims 4 is basically screaming "there will be thousands of DLC for stuff that should be in the base game".

"We've removed these features so that we can sell them to you later."

And let's all believe that they don't intend to add pools through DLC five months later, they would never do something like that!

Yeah, the fact that the release stresses they won't be available with the BASE game definitely points to plans to add them in with an expansion at some point, but I think the problem is that largely these haven't been expansion items since the series was first released. I usually don't try to call this stuff out butthis is outright moneygrabbing here since pools have been a staple since the first game. Toddlers I don't care much about since you couln't do much with them in the first place.

Hahaha, classic console player talk here guys, point at him and laugh.

When you partner with EA, what the hell do you expect?

Yes, the act of collecting, vetting, and sharing information that helps expose uncomfortable truths is journalism at its finest, thanks.

Titanfall...Halo....come on dude. Been playing BF since 1942, and I almost choked when you called BF4 polished.

$25 for the lot is worth it. There isn't a single game here that isn't fantastic. Unfortunately, the only game here that I don't have is Amnesia, so it isn't worth it for me.

Don't you mean "Good job EA, this is a step in the right direction to avoid being voted the Worst Company in America again"?

EA is like an abusive relationship.

"So we're asking teams to be finished earlier." i.e. tell people to crunch? Take a bit more time developing the game, crunch is part of the problem why a game has so many bugs. It is good they are delaying games as part of this but the game is gonna take as long as it takes and you can;t just magically ask a team to

I tried playing GTA Online when it first came out and I found it way too broken, so I focused on single player and decided to come back to it later... Many months passed, and I booted it up yesterday. Here are a few impressions:

I'm so bored of all these fake "outrages".

Must be a typo: "70% off Games You'll Be Able to Play in Three Weeks After The Servers Are Stabilized"
