I imagine he left off V for Vendetta because the Wachowskis only wrote the screenplay, adapting it from the classic comic book series by Alan Moore and David Lloyd. They didn't direct it either, although James McTeigue has a close relationship with the Wachowskis from working on the Matrix movies.
