I wouldn’t want it if the price was $3,34o.00.

Other than Florida, there’s probably not another state that could guarantee failure more confidently.
I was expecting CA to be less stupid because the cars clearly aren’t ready, but every police cruiser has a pit bar on the front now, and obviously a Type 1 fire truck can push anything out of it’s way, so it’s all good.
Hopefully...
Private jets owners already don’t feel like they have to register flight plans or listen to air traffic control, this will only fuel the entitlement.
Farley is really trying to give Musk a run for his money in the stupid comments department, and selling a badge-engineered VW has to be an all-time low for Ford.
Well, that’s disturbing.
Personally, I’m holding out for the final edition Plymouth Horizon.
Plus we know first hand “final” doesn’t always mean final, 18 months from now production could resume.
A great future article would be the breakdown of what’s in that mind-boggling number of semis. As an amusing comparison, there were “only” twelve Futurliners participating in GM’s Parade of Progress tour (and not necessarily all at the same time).
There’s also no shame in buying a car instead of lifestyle vehicle.
The average new and used payments lead me to think most people aren’t just buying a vehicle, but they are going for the grandest aspirational machine they can get approved for, and starting out with nothing down, if not outright upside down from the get go.
I know this would be a difficult car to maintain, but YES PLEASE. Silver Shadow and Silver Shadow II were so gorgeous it’s really hard not to be offended by the vulgarity of everything that followed.
I want these taillights on a sedan or coupe. Now.
1st gear - I think what we mostly have is a wake up call to all the companies that market EVs in North America that the affluent end of the market is saturated and it’s time to offer more that one or two choices in the 30K range.
I think a great number of people who would have never considered a Prius in the past would consider one now that the looks have been fixed and AWD is in the mix.
You would be safer (and save thousands) with Subaru’s EyeSight or Ford’s Safe and Smart, which know how to brake when something is in the way and don’t require any type of response from the driver.
Right? I test drove one used and it had the most unique interior smell I’ve ever encountered. Some sort of medicinal plastic bandage-like smell, and weirdly not unpleasant.
These were rare as hen’s teeth when new. I wanted to love it, but the mashed front fender and interior that looks like a bear was trapped inside with a bag of pork rinds would require some substantial cash to make right.
To those of you that live in NJ, do the pumpmeisters drizzle gas down your fenders?
