Why would anyone in their right mind buy the watered-down knock off Mercedes when they could spend the same amount and get an actual Mercedes?

Blumina.
That plus go to a casino for a few hours a day until you win $100, then lose $750, then go shopping for 10x markup faux designer treasures and “gold” jewelry at your closest major airport and you’ve got it.
Easy fix, bed covers disqualify you for the tax break.
Seems after building the first Beast Jr. someone would have realized what a bad idea it was, rather than building two more. The Smart on the other hand looks surprisingly good with 6 wheels.
1st gear - VW portraying itself as non-comforming is a lie, which is totally on brand. But it really doesn’t matter because the only vehicles people watching TV with commercials care about is Merkin Trucks.
I’ve been rather enamored of the current Elantra and Santa Cruz myself. Retract.
Came here to say that.
The C-Max thing is pretty blatant, but if that truck combination was actually orderable and any were built, it’s shady but not that much more shady than any other BS truck (or car for that manner) ad. If you couldn’t actually order it, then yeah, they need to pay up.
It’s amazing how deeply you can burrow into the various bus manufacturers websites and find no pricing information, so seeing those numbers is quite helpful. It makes me want to go all 60 Minutes and see what prices they would quote if four different people from various locations and ethnicities called. I suspect the…
I like this idea but I can’t pull my brain away from the stupidity the USPS is trying to unleash upon us. That Oshkosh combination of inefficient and hideous is just unbearable. And filed to just because I’m paranoid, doesn’t mean I’m wrong, someone has to be getting kickbacks over that. There is no other possible expl…
Also, far too many new vehicles today look like the final pre-war cars of 1942 when materials rationing was in full swing.
An automotive restoration project will also put one in poor health. I (barely) survived a 1960 Chrysler Saratoga coupe, total production new of less than 6,000. And it really didn’t need that much, looking far more complete than this kit when it went away, yet the black hole of money required was never going to stop.
Unless you aren’t dead set on buying a crossover, truck or SUV. Sedan buyers don’t have to take it up the, er, tail pipe.
My 2019 is worth sticker now. And I didn’t even pay sticker when I bought it new.
Better in some ways, but in others I can see cars of today suffering a single glitch that be so catastrophically expensive for a second or third owner that junking the vehicle and replacing it will be cheaper than repairing it.
3rd gear - I am surprised manufacturers aren’t acting more aggressively than they are now. All dealers are doing at this point is damaging brand’s reputations with all their price gouging and MSRP+++ bullshit.
Diesel here is averaging around $5.48 here. Every time I see a sign a say a little prayer of gratitude I no longer own my POS Golf TDI.
