Except none of the trolls hold on to a burner account for any length of time, so users asking “please dismiss this new account that will try to lure people in with bad-faith arguments and stars from his other sock-puppet accounts that game the system for promoting comments” is the only moderating that gets done here.

Lots of the regular trolls in the comments bragging about how they could just go back to fertilizer bombs when they lose their AR-15s. It seems like bringing back mental health institutions and placing these people in an asylum would solve a lot of problems.

I have been advocating an insurance company approach to this, but it was to raise liability premiums for businesses who allow firearms on their property. Pass a law that Walmart is liable for any shooting on their premises and watch what Walmart’s insurance company tells them.
