I’ve been here for 6 or 7 years and it used to be the going rumor that Tomato’s opioid addiction drove him to act like this. Was he just begging for sympathy, or was he trying to get us to support Republican cuts to opioid addiction funding?

I get that, but I’m wondering how hard an advertising agency will work to eliminate it’s reason for advertising. Even if they’re not directed by the tobacco companies, healthy tobacco companies create a need for continued funding of the Truth campaign.  I wonder if the executives who direct the campaign have…

So you’re saying that it’s a mandatory campaign, and if the campaign management team were ever too effective they would work themselves out of a job? That seems like reason enough to keep cranking terrible ads with dubious effectiveness.
