I really don’t understand why that guy is here, other than “trolling.”  He insists that he’s not a troll, but he brings nothing but drama and anger to every thread he’s in with his nonsense.  And he’s still somehow the only approved commenter here today.

The guy who dated Ann Coulter has a sordid past?  No...

“This indictment is for a legal fiction written in all capital letters, which is not how I spell my name and therefore does not apply to me!”

Look, being the Party of Personal Responsibility means not being responsible for how your violent rhetoric is accepted by others. Sure, a mob boss might exercise his free speech to order a hitman to kill someone, but that act is entirely the hitman’s fault if he actually carries out the order, right?

I’m going to assume the dude invoking the ///Founding Fathers\\\ without actually knowing anything about the founders will also be representing himself, declaring freeze peach, and arguing with the judge about the admiralty flag in the courtroom means the judge has no legal authority over a sovereign citizen, right?

I want to say the first Friday they did it it followed news of layoffs at a competitor or unionization drives or something, and Splinter just posted “Bye!” And went home. This site has lost a lot of the charm with this new class.

I know we were expressly forbidden to bring pornographic material to Afghanistan, because it would violate the UCMJ as well as the local laws and customs. Now, the Taliban was out there raping women and children and captured servicemembers, but they didn’t have photos of naked people, for goodness’ sake.

Man, enough people comment that the weekend editor does a good job and we start getting these passive aggressive “Site’s closed for the weekend, come back Monday” posts. Are you guys trying to get David fired, or is this just a lazy attempt at an open thread?

Taking money out of the system would fix a lot of this, but good luck figuring out how to do that.

The Wyoming rule to match the least populous district would increase the House to something like 550 Representatives, which is not a bad thing. Ideally, though, we should shift some of the Senate’s responsibilities to the House. We already passed an amendment to directly elect Senators, we need another amendment to

Well, he kept making tomato-themed accounts for some reason.

In thirty years, 70% of the people in this country will live in just 15 good states. The other 35 rural states will have lots of livestock and few citizens being represented by 70 Senators.  The filibuster is a bad thing,  it if we still have a Senate we’re going to need to have some way to prevent a rural minority

After moving to Nevada I’m convinced that living in a desert cooks some people’s brains.  It seems to produce a nihilistic, angry people.

“That motherfucker is most uncivil.”

Considering how Hollywood accounting self-deals to declare a movie that makes a billion dollars doesn’t actually turn a profit, he might have simply valued the company as unprofitable and just given it to her.

George W Bush had a weekly Friday news story where they dumped some impeachable act out at 4:30 and it was never followed up on again. It keeps happening because tearing the broken system down is too much trouble.

Just shit directly in to the microwave.

See, if Alabama had a Wall they wouldn’t have drunk-driving felons seeping up from the panhandle like this. /s

House Republicans discovered it was actually an Anti-Violence Against Women law.
