I think this article is terrific, especially since I was thinking this question myself today. I hate how people need to say, “He died but I still hate him!” When there’s no human reason to do so...or, of course, the absurd lionizing of a person that probably did not mean anything to you.

Guinness should not be served at room temperature. I don’t disagree with the article that the amount of Guinness sold is down because of the myriad of options available. I disagree that Guinness is a beer.

It’s difficult to read kinja’s beer columns. Guinness is not a beer, it is a religions, way of life, an elegiac experience that is akin to a human’s first sexual awakening.
