Yeah right, the fact he's gay makes no difference. I concur. Where did I say it did?

Whoa, missed this one, and there's my name and everything.

I think these discussions were pretty well rebutted way, way above. Watch the video that "helmet" posted. For the sake of not being redundant, I won't summarize, but the points you're making are all in there. Except for the whole "I don't play video games" which I think is a bit of a stretch to think that those

No, but he doesn't present any valid arguments. I think the video rebuttal above does a much better than my comments do. And I don't think anyone has shown she's "demonstrably full of xxxx." But feel free to try.

A white man? I clicked on your link and I was right. Women are incarcerated at a lower level - surprising the amount. Do you have a point here? Are you seriously - not as a troll and with a straight face - implying it means black women have it easier in contemporary society than a white men?

Oh, c'mon - Jonn! The video is absolutely an example of a lack of poorly reasoned arguments based on something that doesn't exist. To me, that was clear. I don't see any criticisms that haven't been adressed in the videos themselves, or any that hold water. See rebuttal video above.

I say male POV but as I'm getting tired of mentioning - though maybe I deserve it for writing so quickly - that I'm talking about the tired chauvinistic defense based on the emotional reaction of something you love being questioned.

Poor wording to answer your first query. And, yes to your second. Or at least I hope I would. As I've shown all-too-often today, I'm only human. And I need to be loved. Just like everyone else does.

Ps Of course, I agree she needs to answer (valid) criticism of her work/conclusions. I just think we should let her finish her point first. Capice? I also think she hasn't made that many - mostly it's been background, nothing I've even thought of as halfway controversial.

I don't know of any criticism of Anita Sarkeesian that's had any merit - HOWEVER - I'm sure there's plenty out there that is valid. Considering her academic background, I can't imagine she won't when the series is over. This is part of a dialog, and nowhere has she shut people out, but she is in the middle of doing

LOL! Thankfully, the paper takes several weeks - I promise to cool down first.

Lucas, I've addressed this above. Bad wording on my part initally. I'm same as you.

Last post I promise!

I did mean what I wrote - the difference between a white male person and the white male POV. My vocabulary is poor, because I should have said the established patriarchal POV to be clearer. I absolutely understand the confusion.

please, dear god, check my responses to this issue. Of course, that's not what I'm saying. I'm. a. white. male.

One of my qualms with gender politics is general is the categorization of people into labels. It can be, at some point, dehumanizing. I think we'd agree with that - which might support the contention that not ALL white males are privileged.

And not replying to my comments address this isn't helping. As I mentioned, I've apologized for the confusion REPEATEDLY and that is not what I meant. You've just ignored me. I don't get that, honestly.

I'd be happy to look at these stats. I haven't distorted anything as I haven't brought any up (have I?) other than mentioning all socioeconomic factors show the dominance of men at the end of the economic spectrum (but even then I didn't bring any up). I would be happy to see the statistics you're mentioning. I'll
