Honda had a lot of problems then too. I think environmental laws caused the paint formula to change and it was really lacking for a while until they found new formulations.

You mentioned it in another post, but my biggest issue with it is the paint. If you look at it wrong it scratches!

My ‘15 LEAF has just about the same amount of range (80ish) as it did when I bought it 4 years ago.

The fatal flaw of LEAFs is that their passively cooled. The Ariya will have active cooled batteries, so it shouldn’t be a problem.

eBikes rule so hard. I just clocked 1300 miles on mine I got in early March 2020 (saw the writing on the wall, and jumped on it).

AKA ‘Tuesday’

Imagine being so stoned you forget your own middle name. Now get to work on a car you’ve never seen before! That’s the Jiffy Lube promise.

This isn’t for fuel cell tech though. This is intended to make wee little hydrogen + oxygen + nitrogen explosions over and over again. Like in the olden days.

Wouldn’t combusting hydrogen still yield NOx issues? As long as their also using air for the combustion, the nitrogen will still be there.

Wow, I wonder if that was a ‘That was great, I want my own pilot’s license now!’ or a ‘fuck that, never going on a small plane again!’ moment for the person who just landed the plane.

I’ve always been keen on the idea of hydrogen powered Level 3 chargers.

The rest of the site is just as awful, wow.

I’m sad they delayed the release of the Ariya though.

Damn you, physics!!!

I wonder how long of a trailer they’d need to hit break-even for steady-state cruising....or if that’s even possible.

These are a few of the engine/drivetrain issues i’ve had had to deal with with ICE vehicles over the years. None would be applicable to a BEV:

There is currently a class-action lawsuit out now against Hyundai for excessive oil consumption (>1 qt per 1000 miles!)

It is hard to pick sides of Fascist government thugs vs thuggish mega-corp, I agree.

I’m still amazing how that movie predicted Trump’s presidential win.

The utilization ratio is how much credit do you have vs how much are you using.
