I don't think she was in the lead at this stage, but Kim lost the crown in the finale when she said she hadn't come out to her mother. It feels tacky to talk about someone's real life in this way, but her not coming out to her mother undercut her season long arc. If Kim had come out and had a proud mother on stage for

I have been half-joking about this since season 1. It would be interesting to see the show take that turn into alt-history. It would totally ruin the vibe of the show, but it would be pretty fun to see happen.

I nearly mentioned Thor 2 in my comment because even though its falls into the cliches of the other Marvel Movies I actually really liked their use of the 'Portal' mechanics. I found it super fun. Having said that, I haven't watched it since seeing it in the cinema and don't plan to.

I really appreciated this. I feel like I mentally switch off in the last 30-45 minutes of most Marvel movie as they tend to devolve into fairly bland fights against big armies of nameless goons (especially Avengers 1 and 2). The airport fight, and then the climax of the movie were so much more compelling.

and he gets to say 'meat-shaft'!

I have been down on the last batch of Marvel movies - especially Age of Ultron which was pretty much a mess from top to bottom. Civil War does everything an Avengers movie should. Every character gets a memorable action scene AND some character building.

To my mind, GoT splitting a final season (or doing two smaller final seasons) seems most justifiable given the amount of special effects and other post production work that would hopefully go into their final stretch of episodes. Unlike Mad Men's split final season which was all written and filmed at once, but was

I stopped regularly reading Batman and Batman & Robin after Damien Wayne was killed off in another title. I knew they would bring him back eventually, but I also knew it would be a drawn out, stupid process. Looking from the outside in, Damien Wayne hasn't been allowed to be a good character since.

Can we please swap Earth 2 Iris for Earth 1 Iris?

I would love to see Marvel comics bring a bunch of the original versions of their Blaxsploitation characters such as Luke Cage and Misty Knight into the current continuity. Much like how they brought the original five X-men forward in time.

Wait a second, the Forbes article was published on Dec 18 2014. How is it news/"Good job, internet" now?

I don't know. Something about her facial animations weird me out. Bethesda animations and Nick are a good pairing.

My Dogmeat disappeared. I have followed a few guides online to get him back - build a dog house etc, but nothing has worked.

I watch hours after it airs and the AV Club's review title featured on the front page was something similar to "Everyone loves a blindside". Thanks AV Club. At least they have stopped using pictures of the people who get voted off for every episode.

I totally agree. I could only get through the first half of episode 1. Something about the acting/writing/directing of the conversations between the characters felt so stiff. The transitions into conversations felt really unnaturally and came across as if the writer knew what he wanted the crux of the conversation to

You had me at 'police station locker room'

Especially when a lot of their articles are clearly written to get a reaction from the audience. It seems really weird that there isn't any sort of avenue for comments and discussion. I initially followed TVDW over there but soon gave up.

I quite like Snyder's Detective Comics and Batman runs. I really like each of the arcs. My one big complaint though is that he replies too heavily on telling 'secret histories'. **Spoilers?** Gordon's son, The Court of Owls, Bruce's brother, Joker's back story, Year Zero. They are all fine on their own, but together

That episode was definitely the highlight of season 1.

I wasn't a huge fan of this game overall but that river moment near the end is as brilliant and touching as it is simple.
