Damn, you beat me to it. Though I was going to go more broad and say "So he really is a royal?"

This show was such a horrible mess. Even when it was bad I at least thought it was interestingly bad. This is a weird show to recommend to people as it went through so many 'phases' of varying quality.
Season 1+2 - As good as it gets, and such a great finale.
Season 3 - Such a step down, but great closure to the show…
I really hope they record the whole season before episode 1 airs. I think that was a big downfall on season one from a story telling point of view.
Now now, that's not fair. She is also a brilliant scientist who is presented as the dumbest person in the room so that she can be an audience surrogate and ask stupid questions.
Definitely. (I was editing in my comment about Laurel as you typed your comment. Great minds think alike)
The Flash, and Arrow both show that their respective writers don't know what to do with female character's whose defining traits are 'potential love interest'.
It seems to me that all of the main cast (except Don) have already gotten their final scenes. Peggy, Roger and Joan last week, Betty, Sally and Peter this week. Will next week's finale be a Don-only affair?
Oh I agree. I like the 'Thea as badass' idea but the path it's taken to get there has been painful - mostly due to Merlyn.
I really hope they go back to basics next season. No more convoluted back stories and motivations. No more pointless flashbacks every single episode (or at all). Ollie and Felicity needs to pair up and stay together, or they need to drop it indefinitely. At the very least they need to put a ban on Felicity crying.
I'd have thought they would go the other way, introduce Arianne and either ignore or only just mention the sand snakes. Rather than introduce the sand snakes who all seem pretty interchangeable to me.
So, it's safe to assume Arianne Martell has been replaced by Ellaria Sand in the show? It makes sense in terms of using an existing character instead of introducing a new one, but I am a little bummed. I really like Arianne.
Is this season over yet?
I would love to the see what the reviews would have looked like if the Rocksteady name was on Origins. It seemed to me that the studio change allowed a lot of the gaming press to express complaints that also applied to the first two games - and City in particular.
My grand plan would be to move Wells and Iris over to Arrow, and Felicity over to Flash. Then burn Arrow to the ground and never look back.
This has been such a sloppy season. No character has remained unscathed from the mix of convoluted/incestuous plotlines and character connections. No one seems to have a clear set of motivations episode to episode, let alone across the whole season.
I think a part of what you are talking about is that if a project is given a big budget it is a greater risk, so it needs to be safer to market and sell - so it loses a lot of what real horror is.
I assume that was a side effect of his Alzheimer's disease.
I think this is the episode that made me realise I just don't give a fuck any more.
My housemate and I assume they are setting up Linda to be some sort of metahuman called Spicy Taco.
That's very true, I'd not thought of it that way. That would be great if they had presented their world like that.
