I am reminded of the whole “What would you do if you knew you couldnt fail” and I realize Lumps brain is just hardwired that way. He has a thought and since it’s his thought it must be brilliant so he must share it with the world.

The evidence is that not every person is perfect. Many are greedy and thoughtless and downright cruel. Socialism only works on paper. There are functioning countries that have socialist leanings but no pure socialist countries.  

Do you really need a lesson in socialism and human behavior? You’ll figure it out three or fours years after you graduate.

If you can’t think of them yourself (just sit and contemplate for a moment) I don’t think you would understand them if I went into detail.

I am not an expert but aren’t most of the cash reserves held by banks there by law? To ensure solvency? To make sure we don’t have massive bank failure?

But then its gone. The poor aren’t really any better off and you had a temporary spending bump. Plus consider that knowing this was coming along, how many of the “rich” would keep their liquid assets somewhere where they could be taken? If I knew there was a pick-pocket in the area I would move my cash to my shoe.

This is like a first semester freshman econ paper. It’s a very sweet thought but there are so many things not taken into consideration here it ends up being a complete joke. Nice thought though, like Santa Claus.
