I agree in one respect: I dont watch football to hear about anyone’s views on anything other than football.
Why are these sponsors dropping the players. In my mind there are two main reasons:

I think I am remembering some experiment where they kept increasing the population density of a group of rats. There was a breaking point and then all hell broke loose. Cant remember the name of the study.
Isn’t increasing population density a really bad idea in the long run? Wouldn’t a better solution be to spread out and build good connecting public transit?

Knowing this campus I am surprised he hasn’t been expelled, castrated, tarred and feathered, tied to the Big chair at the student union and publicly flogged.
If some one has an ax to grind and wants to mess with your life, anyone just mentions sexual assault and they can do a lot of damage. Happened to a local prominent citizen here and he had to sue the accuser to get things out in public and clear his name.
Who is surprised by this? Anyone? Anyone?..... Nope, this is not a surprise at all. It would be news if he wasn’t armed.

Right now we aren’t a liberal democracy.
I feel bad for the son and his call for accountability. His parents are now being held accountable. Does the punishment fit the crime? No. But they had to expect something sooner or later.
