Knowing a team’s tendencies well enough to take that risk (and a few others) and have them pay off IS brilliance.

The KC Metro has about 2 million. Still, this was amazing.

The dude was complaining all night. Wouldn’t leave the batters box without a drawn out discussion. What’s so strange about it?

That’s the same kind of logic racists use. Maybe the state has some bad apples, but there’s nothing wrong with the 20-some million people who live in Texas. And, I live in Los Angeles.

A “mysanantonio.com” story about the incident has their names listed in the comments: #81 was Michael Moreno and #12 is Victor Rojas (not the Angels’ announcer).

But he was probably very relaxed in the first place. When you’re not rich and famous yet, you’ve got nothing to lose.

I live in Los Angeles, but am from Kansas City, and I give Kansas City my full endorsement for being a creative, interesting town. Great jobs, stuff to do, Google Fibre, even their baseball is fun to watch again.

Thank you for using Tim and Eric parodying these sorts of shows in an actual show :D

I think Lawrie’s slide was ugly and Herrera’s pitch was alarming. I also think the Royals were acting out - perhaps unfairly - in response to getting hit by pitches by every team all season so far.

More of a CADA knob.

Do you know if and where these alternate angles exist on the internet? It's for an inspirational work meeting.

I think it's good to point out things like that. Often when things are successful, people will assume that means it was the right call...which ironically, leads to teams turning a bad decisions (that turned out well) into bad habits. In this case, I liked him stealing 3rd, but I understand your reasoning as well.

Too soon, NFL.

They said WORST.

Those are terrific shots! Where did you find them?

I agree on the sad shots! And if I'm a losing fan, I don't want to see my team looking bummed anyway!

Arizona hasn't been to 100 postseason games. Oh wait, are you talking about Louisville?

The Angels and A's have now gone a combined 5-12 against the Royals this season. Maybe they were lucky to make the playoffs in the first place.

Yeah, but it was outside.

I did not realize the thing about the patch of grass. I assume it was behind the bullpens, like back behind the scoreboard before the stadium had seating in the round? That's a cool tidbit I never knew.
