Frankly, I would think this was awesome even if it was about Scalia. The fact that it is about our best justice IMHO... that's just world domination.

Seriously. I mean, remember the Alamo?!?
+1 inappropriate scratch
Very, very well said. I just want to thank the guy and tell him that he (and his protege Colbert as well) had the amazing quality of not only doing everything you said, but also making you feel like you'd love to be friends with the guy. He just exudes kindness, decency, and integrity on top of epic talent.
Just to be clear — and sorry I am late — but I would pay $221.50 to see Barack Obama come out like a WWF star with fireworks and heavy metal music. This is the same amount I paid for two tickets to see Rush in NOLA this coming May, which should give you an idea of my enthusiasm.
man, I generally like your work, but I don't know what you're talking about. I thought both articles made excellent, if somewhat contradictory, points. They didn't come off as assholes at all.

OMG... that drummer story... OMG. This musician (and former waiter) thanks you from the bottom of his trying-not-to-beat-too-loud heart.

it's about ethics in retired baseball bro journalism
I saw more insane, dysfunctional behavior at Harvard than anywhere else before or since BY FAR, including SEC schools. I spent college with mostly great people overall, to be sure, but there was an abundance of ridiculous bro nonsense as well.
As a former Harvard football player and Finals Club reject, I find every aspect of this story to be simultaneously hilarious and depressing... not the least of which is the fact that it all came from a source called "BroBible." People who didn't attend a highbrow Ivy League school would probably be shocked at the…
They occupy the same circle of Hell as music purists. The Blues Nazis rule it with an iron fist.
No, they're not.
I absolutely love the not-so-subtle slide into pathos reflected by the move from cheap beer to cheap canned Scotch. It mirrors the life trajectory of the average Deadspin commenter. Yep, me too.
Time that will help your bruises heal.
If I had to pick one aspect of modern or postmodern life that threatens to destroy my soul on a moment-by-moment basis, it's the idea that "brand" matters. I get why we have advertising and I don't have a blanket objection to it — I'm no Communist, in case the NSA is listening (and they are!) — but the idea that…
Clearly it's a slow news day at Deadspin Worldwide HQ.
