@BigDikJohnson: Agreed. About a month after I said something similar, mine died. and then I was happy after they 'fixed' it by adding another heatsink. and a year later it died again. but this time they charged me $100. Though they sent a whole new machine this time.

If that's what they're making a big deal out of, I'm going to be disappointed. Personally, I'm not a very big fan of the Beatles. I respect them and their significance to music though.

There HAVE to be more important things researchers could spend 4 years on.

What a great invention. Women are always complaining to me that I spend too much time staring at their boobs and not listening to them.

Neat little design. I'm not big on having to connect storage externally though. It's just one more cable.

@gir: Oh ok. I got mine a couple years ago.

Skip the Princeton Tec headlamp and get a Petzl Tikka XP. I've owned both and the Petzl is much much better. I think it's been replaced by the Tactikka, which looks identical but also has third strap and colored filters. [www.petzl.com]

And this won't make calls or sms over Sprints network right? Just VOIP?

@badasscat: Yeah that's what's going to keep me from buying. Gotta be wireless. I've grown too accustomed to it now.

So an out of control car trashed your camera, huh? Must have been a real drag.

Since they probably set this up just for a commercial shoot, (not really someone's house) there's probably no AV cable connected, just power. That makes it RROD right?

I have the movie poster in my living room. I love this film.

@The K Gee19: Of course Top Gun. That was the first grown up movie I remember watching when I was little. My brother and I used to put on bike helmets and turn pillows and toys into the cockpit and play Maverick and Goose.

It's a shame he's such a wacko because I like his movies and he's a good actor, IMO. The MI movies are good. Vanilla Sky is one of my favorites. And he can be funny too, IE Tropic Thunder.

HAHA! That was awesome. I love that movie. Daniel Day-Lewis makes every other actor in Hollywood look like an amateur. "I'm your brother." "NO!"

Looks good. Is it going to have Kevin Harvick's new Budweiser paint scheme? That car is awesome looking. The red version looks just like Kahne's, but the black is sweet. [store.nascar.com]

This was absolutly the best way to do this review. Thank you! I've been enthusiastic about something new on day 1 but after a few days you start to see flaws. Good idea to spread it over a week.

@超外人: I think it's using the different distances and arm positions to create a composite of your shape. Like it could work with jsut one pose, but you would have to match it exactly every time. By using a bunch, including turning a little to see your depth it must average them together or something. I'm just

@gonzorider: Yeah, it's be smart if the teeth faced outwards and could be zipped in between each side of the zippers on your jacket, kind of like how liners zip into rain shells. I don't know how useful it'd be, but it would be clever. And not all zippers are the same size so it wouldn't be a universal fit.
