I kind of feel like the only useful bit here is the IP address. Most of those other details wouldn't have helped me in previous tech support situations. Actually, many of mine involve router problems so the site wouldn't work at all.
@ChaosCon: I can has key card to internets?
Deleted
@gemcosta: Hey I hadn't heard of it either and I consider myself pretty intelligent.
I don't think I could shoulder a responsibility like this. I imagine a film about post-apocalyptic Earth where one of the guys has to find 4 others to restart the internet, but there is an evil force out to hunt and destroy the cardholders to prevent the internet's resurrection.
Is that Liam Neeson with the gray hair?
@Sean Harrington: Yeah! or how about a fireman's pole right down the middle?
How about tape that looks like laces on a shoe? or sutures on a wound? That would be sweet.
Scraping the content out of sites is great for the user, bad for the site. Too many of these clients and the site will lose ad revenue. It also hurts the chance of making money off of branded mobile apps made for that sites content. They'll lash back eventually with copyright claims.
I don't think I have enough old spare parts for this, but definitly enough for an end table or nightstand. I wonder if there's a way to make them into dinner plates too.
The commenting on Giz is better than most sites. Largely because it's well "policed". Generally when I comment I get responses that I actually care about, which is why I continue to participate. Thanks, Giz for holding everyone to some standards.
@crimsoneye: I'm thinking it's probably likely since the My Verizon app just added a data usage widget.
@JACrazy: I think that's the next logical step. Cable boxes already have multiple tuners. Good call.
@csl5049: The twisty bits are to get more surface area to reject more heat from a smaller volume (so your AC unit doesn't take up your whole backyard). The article is pitifully short of specifics but it may be similar to a eutectic alloy that has multiple melting points.
I think the most well-known to people in the US, and especially non-racing fans, would be Dale Earnhardt's death.
@imac20c2d: I got the same results 'testing' my Eris.
@ravrahn: My Droid Eris, a phone Apple says has horrendous signal attenuation, is the same. Worst I could make it do was drop from 3 bars to 2 bars. And my apartment rarely has more than 2 bars anyway.
@RedRaptor: I swear, slappers was some of the most fun multiplayer ever. I remember playing that and just laughing with my friends the whole time.
Why is Daniel Craig playing Bond in Goldeneye? That's ridiculous.
