@iJoe: It's tough though. Theres a point where if you've waited that long, like 6 months, then maybe you're better off waiting another 6 months for the next version. I think i'm going to skip iPhone 4 altogether and wait for 5. Not saying it'll take 6 months to fix.

Is it safe to say that if you want an iPhone 4 but haven't bought one yet, wait a few months to see if there are any changes to the manufacturing process that fix the issue?

So if the offer is only good through September 30th, does that mean they are making changes to the build process so that phones bought after that won't need a case?

Lot of discussion about his handguns. Looks like a 5 inch barrel 1911 copy. Could be made by any number of manufacturers. Or it's a completly made up 1911 clone.

Keyboard shortcuts are one of my favorite parts of using a Mac. I know Windows has a lot too, but for some reason I never thought they were as easy to use.

I think the free coating would be the best thing for Apple, probably not the best for the consumer. If they give away free cases they not only cut their revenue on cases, but earnings for every other case manufacturer they carry.

You know it's bad when even the bible thumpers are picking on the nerds.

I've considered getting a pay-as-you-go Verizon phone to keep in my car for emergencies. Many times if i'm outside the city (Atlanta) my iPhone gets weak or no service.

@AdamKaoru: Yeah at first it seems like iOS 4 ran a little snappier but lately it's been glitchy. And Mail still screws up even after I applied the hotfix. I get the body of the message but don't get the sender and subject until 10 minutes later. Using gmail push. it's weird.

@YardanCabaret: At I first I was really confused at why I couldn't change clothes in my own house at Beecher's Hope and then realized you have to wear the racher's outfit, which is kind of dumb. I want to wear the duster 24/7

@Scott: LG and Samsung make a dozen crappy phones every year and no one seems to care.

If this were ANY other phone manufacturer people would just say "it's a piece of crap, don't buy it." But it's Apple and they make one phone at a time so the whole world is freaking out. My solution...I'm just not buying it until it gets fixed. I probably won't upgrade until iPhone 5 anyway. My 3GS is holding up

What's the likelihood of an in-the-field fix, Toyota style. Bring the phone in and the Geniuses stick some clear tape around the edge. I think that would be more likely than free bumpers or a recall.

Do video game developers work freelance, one project at a time? Or do they normally stick with a studio over multiple releases?

@mindsale: I know! At first I thought "Ooh, cool twist. I'm his son." and then as soon as he spoke I was like WTF?

Well I hope these people don't have any trouble finding new jobs. Delayed or not, that game is darn near perfect.

"I spent the whole time lookin' at me legs movin'!" This thing is cool. They've got to get it down in price though. Even if it were like, $10K. A motorized wheelchair can be a few thousand.

Clearly, Steve, there was a reson "it's never been done before," exposed antennas cause problems. I'm thinking back to every cell phone I've ever had and they all had a plastic antenna, or more accurately, an insulated antenna. Not one where you could touch the actual metal.

I still don't understand the Lego game thing. Lego Star Wars was cool because it was funny to see all those pieces that I lost under the couch again, but I don't really get Lego Rock Band and Harry Potter. I guess they sell, but it just seems goofy to me.
