I remember now. I think that part was okay to leave to the EE. It didn't add anything extra to the story, but it was nice to see. And honestly I'm not sure everyone would appreciate what it meant anyway.
True, he could have been asked use the drive-thru, assuming they had one.
Agreed. There is a legal term called "expectation of privacy" which defines the scope of the Fourth Amendment. In general, one cannot have a reasonable expectation of privacy in things held out in the public...such as at a McDonald's.
Thanks! Glad I'm not the only one who hated the movie for that reason.
Why in the world would anyone care what the customer was wearing? You're serving him hamburgers, not making him board a plane.
Agreed, that was a great scene. Telling Pippin not to worry...that death is not the end... Very well done. I think that scene should have been in the theatrical version.

Ben & Jerry's may already be working on that flavor. They're calling it Longhorn Holiday.
That was probably better then the script will actually be.
Why would we root for dinosaurs? They kill us in almost every movie they appear in.
How about cybernetic dinosaurs?
Predator vs. Alien was pretty bad. Then Cowboys vs. Aliens came along and set the bar even lower. But now we have Dinosaurs vs. Aliens? Sheesh. Won't they ever learn?
How about one for WoT?
Yatagarasu, I bow to your superior knowledge and concede the discussion.
