I prefer "Fuck Ryan".

Sadly, you will probably be right.

But her emails!!

….this racist toothpick bouncing on a brotha like she just got a new pogo stick.

Seconded.

Speaking of Stuart Gordon and the stage play of TFW:

Uh….well, they would've had to ditch the fighting suits—and how would you have pulled off the Taurans? Or the combat scenes?

I really have to read that one. I would also recommend Haldeman's Mindbridge.

Good point! In regards to the film version of The Forever War I do wonder what they'll do in regards to the Fighting Suits. I mean, Iron Man and Edge Of Tomorrow showed that you could do practical powered suits, but how will they look in this film?

Nailed it.

Not quite. In the book, the ships use a "tachyon drive" to get close to light-speed while traveling to the "collapsars". It's the collapsars that allow for FTL jumps between stars (and there is one in our solar system, Stargate), but it's traveling to them to get into position for the collapsar "jumps" where time

Where's your evidence to back this up?

Well, his script Passengers has received a lot of positive attention…and his original draft for Prometheus was quite good.

'The book still holds up after nearly 40 years, sadly." Agreed.

I remember seeing THE SCREAM, but never picking it up….will have to give it a read.

Good call on BLOOD—can't believe I missed that one. I also liked the BLOOD+ anime as well (haven't seen BLOOD-C yet).

Read it. It made me a McCammon fan and as far as I'm concerned it belongs on the list of top vampire stories/novels.

Agreed. I like the first film, but BLOODLUST just blows it out of the water.

I was expectIng a DOCTOR WHO reference myself….

The funny thing is that THE LIGHT AT THE END is the only book of theirs that I've read….but good Lord was it great.
