@EdnasEdibles: My worst job ever was at a non-profit that promoted women's issues.

@pmarble: The "second shift" doesn't apply to my life. I'm married to a tidy, but not fastidiously tidy, man. I probably spend 4 hours a week on housework. Hubby spends about the same.

@DaniFae: Please tell me its a recipe with simple ingredients that is easy to cook. My culinary skills when I'm straight are probably equal to most people's when they're stoned.

I'm pushing 50 and have never been happier.

@Lymed: Grassley does kind of look like Oscar ....

I've also noticed that what's sexy in genitalia is shaved. Last time I looked at a Playboy, all the models were hairless. To me, it looked like they were pre-pubescent. (They also, of course, large pert breasts).

@TeFrey: Our local zealot has a conviction for domestic violence and he had to call a conservative legislator to bail him out of jail when he was the featured speaker and some right wing dinner. Seems he owes about $50k in back child support. Meanwhile, he's had a couple more kids with his current wife.

@greengrey: The offer the love of God, salvation and eternal happiness for those who submit.

@SarahMC: I'm baffled too. I didn't think I could get more liberal, but apparently motherhood is the ticket.

My corner of Idaho seems to be relatively sin free.

@Etoiles: The only pleasure I get from infants, is in getting the hell away from them. As far and as quickly as possible.

Funny how all these angry mobs at town halls on health care rant and rave about socialized medicine and government bureaucrats making medical decisions. Yet, they're perfectly happy to make decisions for pregnant women and make sure they can't access abortion services, or in some cases, even access to contraceptives.

Is it just me, or does that picture make Michael look like a Klingon?

No abortion is morally abhorrent. If a pregnant woman decides to terminate her pregnancy, that's her business. Done for her reasons. And nobody should have veto power. Nobody.

I love the Roseanne show. Not only was it a real family, but Roseanne was a real woman. Stuck working crappy jobs, hanging out at the slightly-run-down Lobo Lounge, and living in a house that I recognized.

Dreadful, dreadful, dreadful "art."

My husband and I watch this train wreck religiously every Sunday morning. Right after Meet the Press and before the McLaughlin Group.

No regret. No guilt.
