First, it would mean admitting something is wrong, which everyone in this shit-show is loath to do.

Hey, I’ve also long thought that she’s his KGB handler! I’m so glad there’s another of us! Let us form a blog together.
Sure, I can buy it. I mean, he’s been dealing with Russians since the 80s, so I am on board with this theory.
Trying to think of a snappy response, but I’m floundering.
I’m fairly convinced that they will end up in some dacha by the Caspian Sea.
Don’t be so mean, you’ll make me blubber. I’ll scale it back.
Anyone who faked enthusiasm would be caught immediately as a pretender. Melania’s antipathy is part of why she’s convincing; no one really likes Trump so anyone who claims to is instantly suspicious.
. . .I’ll let this pass this time. Do it again, and I swear I will whale on you.
Take your damn star(fish).
I cod not help but have my trouts, Kate. I f-eel like salmon is catfishing you.
I truly appreciate and respect how committed you are to this bit, Kate.
Interesting theory, I never thought of her that way, but it would make sense in a very weird way. Then again, there’s nothing normal about this administration, so FLOTUS as a Russian spy? Why the hell not!
Melania’s disdain for her husband and the endless shitshow he stirs up is obvious and her expression always looks annoyed. Of course if, as I believe, she is a Russian spy and part of Putin’s long con of Trump, it’s no wonder she can’t keep the look of disgust off of her face.

But the show’s writing and Foy’s performance do a helluva job keeping the audience on Elizabeth’s side. As much as viewers may disagree with monarchical ideals, they can’t help…
No, you’re not. Multiple times I skipped through Margaret’s scenes because it was just another whiny little rich girl.
Yes, that’s the bad news.
What Claire Foy is leaving?!
Have you watched it since watching The Crown? It’s really interesting! There are little moments that remind me so much of the show. Like when she’s listening to her mother’s advice about how to handle this and she immediately calls Tony to do the opposite of that advice. There were lots of those moments in the show.
I will miss Claire Foy she really made the show for me. I watched The Queen after The Crown (same writers) and Foy is even better than Helen Mirren (who is obviously great.) Very tough shoes to fill.
I’m thrilled that they’ve gotten to decolonization. Decolonization and the loss of the “empire” is such a fundamental event in modern British history, but it’s interesting that it seems like they’re using the decolonization of Ghana as the icon of that progress. Are they just skipping the Suez Crisis entirely? Could…
