Was a lucky kid - got a brand new car with 8 miles on the odometer. Now, 18 years later, I’ve had it for more than half my life. It sits at 190K miles, albeit no longer in daily driver duty.

You can’t replace sentiment. I will never part with it.

iDrive that debuted in the E65. Infuriating was an understatement.

How is the Senna not on this list? It looks like a high school shop class assembled it

I think GreenN_Gold is saying the same thing as you; the Accord driver absolutely was driving like a maniac, but that’s the job of the police to reprimand, not the duty of the Raptor. You’re both saying the same thing here. The Accord was in the wrong, but the Raptor simply could have gotten out of his way and let the

I wake up and bust my tail daily so that someday, I can get my paws on my very own NA2 Silverstone Metalic/Ebony 6MT.

Can’t help but appreciate the new one; it has never gotten nearly the praise and recognition it deserves because it’s not from a higher end panache brand. That mentality has, and will never make any

Given that the roads around here are basically as unrefined as off-roading trails, I got myself the most indestructible rig I could: 4Runner. It won’t die, it handles the bumps like a champ, it won’t die, it likes the snow and cold, it won’t die, and hauls everything.

Did I mention it won’t die? It’s not “fun” but it

The absurd amount of late model CX-5's, and previous generation Nissan Rogue’s mindlessly rolling around without headlights on is baffling.

Again, Canada is better than America.

Love is an understatement. In fact, I still have it. I was a lucky 16 year old and got it brand new 17 years ago with 8 miles on the odometer. Now, with 180K on said odometer, I just road tripped it 1,200 miles in a weekend. Not so much as a hesitation to jump behind the wheel and head off.

4Runner...4 life.

I’ll drive mine until a meteor hits the planet. I’ll probably die, but it definitely wont and will probably still be too expensive for the aliens on whatever planet it lands on...

Another +1 for the GX/4Runner. They’re old, but they’re tried, true and tested. And they still like hotcakes, look great (esp the 4R), NEVER breakdown, and defy gravity and inflation on a depreciation curve.

I have a 4th Gen 4Runner V6 Limited that I daily. I can say with confidence, I won’t be buying a new daily for

“Boringly reliable” made my chuckle...because it’s so true. But I’ll never own another daily driver as long as Toyota keeps churning these things out. My ‘06 takes a beating and never asks for anything other than gas and oil.

4Runner 4dayz!

Bought an ‘06 Limited V6 last March with 100K miles, one owner for $10K. I would have paid more but the Mazda dealer where it was traded didn’t know its real value. I’ve put gas, oil and wiper blades on it. It lives with me in Boston, has gone to the heights of Maine in snow and the depths of Cape Cod

1st Gen TSX. K24 engine is bulletproof, can be had with a silky smooth 6MT, reliable as the day is long, safe and fun!

Mazda3 FTW!

4Runner is the only answer. Roll that back window down and let that Pup live!

They’re legendary, pun absolutely intended. Just ask Tyson, pictured with his fleet.

I’m entirely biased; I’ve owned my ‘04 TSX since new, got it with 8 miles on it and I’d sooner sell my S2000 before parting with the TSX. It does EVERYTHING just right. I’d jump it in now and drive it cross country with nothing more than a second thought.

Found myself an ‘06 Limited 4WD V6 4Runner with 100K last March for $10K here in New England. It had just been traded in at a Mazda dealer and was routinely maintained at a Toyota dealership in tony Fairfield County, CT. I didn’t even try to haggle on the price, I knew it was a deal. I may never buy another daily

Nothing but respect for Land Cruisers, but ’ll stick to my 13 year old 4Runner Limited for a 10th of the price... still runs like brand new.

Find me a decade-plus year old Escalade, Land Rover, or G Wagon that can last as long as these Toyota trucks do. The Land Cruiser may be dated, but it still is the pinacle of

My father bought a ‘95 Millenia S used in ‘97 after he wrecked his ‘89 929 in an ice storm (talk about an understated, vastly underappreciated car...)

When it ran, it was so smooth, so effortless, a true pleasure to be in. I remember the Bose sound system actually being quite good for its time. But that Miller Cycle
