I guess those games are straddling the line, I'd say with the right people they could work as a party game. I've talked to a friend that played Mafia during a normal party once, said it was neat.

The Coup, The Werewolf and Avalon are the best party games ever. If you don't mind people being mad at each other after the game that is.

Both episodes are excellent, but if they were to duke it out, TMLH would beat the crap out of The Why of Fry. Which is a shame, since the latter should have way more of an impact than it does.
