YES. I still love “Not the Doctor” as my “fuck you, no I will NOT do all the emotional labor for your man-child ass” song.

LOL same. I was like “god damn, Peter, seriously?”

Same. I think he’s super talented, but dude’s gotta be bored with playing Dean by now.

Damn. Part of me thought this show would out-live us all.

It looks like “Dumm Dump” which is....kind of accurate, actually.

1. I’m still kind of astounded by this. My Catholic grandma (and my religion teachers too, actually) revered her copy of the Bible so much she would pick it up and kiss it if she dropped it on the floor accidentally. And Evangelicals are ok with this guy signing the cover of their Bibles? As if he wrote the thing? It

This is also when you start adopting the woke-abulary. You no longer discuss things; you “unpack” them. Everything that once made you laugh when your cousin said it at a cookout is now “problematic.” You suddenly notice how often you are “triggered” by “microaggressions” like your boss asking you why you are late to

I don’t know when the feminists are going to write the story about the unusual situation of a man getting power through his wife, but that’s what we have here.

Seriously. I’m no Meghan McCain fan, but Trump’s behavior is fucking atrocious most of the time.  I’m fine with calling him out.

We had 2 hotel staff guys knock on the door and ask to come in one evening while we were in the room - they had to dial down to the front desk from the phone to signal nothing weird was going on. If we hadn’t answered the door they would’ve come in anyway. Would

Exactly. I’m not saying she’s a victim here, but people underestimate how some parents are masters at manipulating their own children.  Her parents basically said straight-out that they didn’t go to college so they wanted her to. They did it to bolster their own egos and live vicariously though their kid.

Flight of the Conchords, a TV show which Clement and Waititi also worked on.

It warms my working-while-going-to-school/neck-deep-in-student-loans one too.

I’ve never seen the movie, but I remember my Catholic family having the same reaction. I remember my mom briefly seeming interested in seeing it, but when we heard how gruesomely violent it was I think we both felt like the focus on that violence was entirely missing the point of Christ’s story.

Same, after a couple weeks of that playlist I wanted to die. (Actually, their nitpickiness about store displays also made me feel homicidal, but that’s a different story.)

Yikes. I generally think Simon is cute but if they were going for the “unhealthily thin” look they nailed it.

*hurk*

If anyone hasn’t read Bad Blood, please go read it. It’s so good, and a little horrifying to read how this psycho managed to fleece so many people. My mom and I are reading it together and shaking our heads at how absolutely nuts Holmes is. I’m a little bit over halfway through it and read the first part on a plane -
