I worked there in 2014 on 2.0 and 3.0. Lots of good people at the Avalanche studio. Super sad to hear this, as I have friends from graduate school who were there until today. :(
It’s been announced, there is two demos that combined have more gameplay time then many games, there is enough trailer footage to last more than an a few hours. There has been enough ink spilled about Square Enix admitting a lot is riding on this. The idea they’ll miss THIS deadline is insane.
It could be representing a family with prior marriages in the picture. The family that posted their solidarity to old navy had 3 white kids and a black dad, so she got her kids from a former marriage.

I know I’m not as obsessed about fighting games as some people but I found SFxT to be quite fun. The microtransaction DLC stuff was shit but easily avoidable.

Why? Did they steal assets? If not, then I don’t see what’s wrong with it. As far as I know, they weren’t going to profit off the project in any way. I don’t see how this is any different than recreating a famous painting or a cover band singing a famous song.

I’d say it’s more about being aware not everyone has to be white and straight rather than going “this is how many blank i’ll have in this piece of media”. It’s not a quota.
