Below dealer cost. Don’t ask me how Costco does it, but they do.”

I’m almost with you, except one more thing - make it NOT a Nissan. We have Nissan fleet vehicles and they are pretty unreliable. Don’t get me wrong, they’re not BAD cars, but they aren’t very good. That would be the only thing holding me off the Leaf, but otherwise I pretty much agree with you!

Or, if you’re sensitive to dry air, DO use it in the winter on-and-off so that the humidity gets a little better inside. Of course, this can cause windows to fog, at which point turn it off for a bit and then turn it back on later.

A million times this!

You may be misreading “came from a good family”... translated, it means white/male/affluent privilege.

Like others, we share a single DB. We do have some separate categories, but they aren’t well organized on my end (I started with the old KP defaults and made a mess of them in that sense, so I just use search). As a newer user to the DB, she uses one for herself, and another for her business.

That’s what I came here to say... portable single-hose units are a waste of energy and money. Don’t bother with them. If you can get a dual-hose (which pulls in air from outside to cool the hot-side) then fine... but these terrible units ought to be banned.

I use FF on the desktop all the time, and love it. The Android version is terrible. The biggest issue I have is that there is no form-filler. On a phone, this is a deal breaker as it’s so annoying to have to fill in forms manually.

Keepass FTW!

Automation doesn’t eliminate jobs, but it does take away the more boring and tedious ones. Robots aren’t good at complex tasks, so you need higher skilled workers to support the mundane stuff robots are doing. That means MORE skilled/higher paying job opportunities. (Longer rant would involve how we need to have

Why do you think they are bad at calculating odds?

That’s a great way to frame the situation. I report them for speed traps, because speed traps are stupid... but this makes for a nicer story, thank you!

As MehQueen says, it’s not just me. But, going a step further, I have been told that Duracells have the lowest internal resistance, and are designed in that way so that you can extract every last bit of energy from them. It is this feature that allows them to run as long as they do, but it’s also why they tend to leak

It’s great to see the copper top batteries in the picture, as these are the primary batteries that have corroded on me. I have since switched to Energizers and have not seen a battery corrode that way since.

I don’t know. I did a search from within Chrome, not within the Google app or the search bar... maybe that matters?

If only the “news” was held accountable for reporting NEWS rather than whatever BS they find elsewhere. Without accountability, there’s no desire to fact check anything... so they just don’t bother.

Don’t insult Thanos like that. At least he had a cohesive idea/thought.

FWIW, I had to install “ARCore” from the play store to get the popup for the 3D images. None of the instructions I have seen on the web mention this, which is why I’m mentioning it here.

I would agree with you that inspections are a good idea, but the problem is that they are poorly implemented and largely ineffective at doing what they’re supposed to do. In addition, there are often “easy” ways around it, it seems... too bad I didn’t know any of them.

If you want to talk facts, keep in mind the fetus is effectively a parasite, living off the mother’s body. If it weren’t for the mother, it would not survive. If you want to take it to such a ridiculous extreme, you should also be against antibiotics, as they kill living organisms in your body as well.
