I haven’t seen anyone here mention that deer do run with other deer. I grew up in the country so encounters were common. Rule of thumb: if you see one deer slow right down because there will be one (or more) bringing up the rear.

Drive an NA Forester and an XT back to back. I do every time I get a loaner from my dealer. It makes me want my XT even more.
