In regards to regularly encountered bad behavior, cell phone use of any kind is obviously up there.

Ha! Henderson Ford’s right by me. They’re a bunch of jackholes. They had a Focus RS they did the same thing with. I forget how much they were asking for it, but it was so much it sat on the lot for months.
That’s why I put the big Mann filter on mine. Increased the oil capacity by like 25%!
Belt driven starter?
I don’t think your 2.0T makes only 140HP. I had your engine’s granddaddy in my ‘99 Audi — the AEB, the original 1.8T — and that made 150hp in its lowest boost form.
I wonder what would have happened if we didn’t have the shortage we’re having now. Would they be selling these things for even less?
Clearly they are mad if they’re going to bash your face in with their logo…
You will take your goddamned star and you will *like it.*
Are there even any Mazda 3’s left from that period? How they rusted in ways only the Titanic could understand, you’d think they’d all have just turned into little piles of brown dust by now.
I had a ‘91 with that motor. I don’t recall it being that bad. I only really recall it being properly slow when it we crammed eight people into it, as high schoolers are wont to do.
I’m told my grandparents had that motor in a ‘73 Coupe DeVille. My dad says it could move the car, but only if you weren’t in a hurry.
Whatever I4 motor they put in the ‘90 Dodge Caravan. When it did run, all it really did was convert fuel into NVH. There was a little energy left over to move the thing, but only if you didn’t mind having your doors blown off by the little old lady on the sidewalk driving a Hoveround.
I drove my friend’s 4cyl Ranger the day he got it after we spent the afternoon tuning it up and replacing the wheel bearings. Only thing I’ve ever driven that stalled when you sidestepped the clutch in first with it in the limiter.
I put one new coil in my B5 Audi at around 200k and replaced the pre-cat O2 sensor a little before that because I thought it was going bad. Turns out it was fine, but was loose. Put the new one in anyway.
Even then they lasted longer. My ‘99.5 Audi had 214k on it when I junked it. I could have fixed it and kept it going, too. I didn’t because it was a pain in the ass and not worth the effort. Either way, the argument that German cars don’t last to 100k is bunk. My E46 has not quite 80k and, while it’s broken right now,…
We’re going to have to agree to disagree on the “it doesn’t matter” part, but I’m with you on putting it in the infotainment thingy. You put it there, I’ll knock you’re effing teeth down your throat. I’M TALKING TO YOU, MR. MUSK.
My E46 has manual sport seats. They are an example of how *not* to do it. There’s three levers on the side of the seat to adjust the seat base position front to back, the seat height, and the seat back angle. Other than some position mnemonic, like the one closest to the seat back is for the angle, there’s no way to…
I agree. My biggest problem with ME was that my Shepard ended up being unrealistically good. You didn’t need to work terribly hard to save everyone and everything. Only in a few places was I put in a position where decisions really felt like they had much actual gravity. Virmire obviously comes to mind, but it kind of…
This was my first thought. Inside the greater ME universe, it’s interesting backstory about why humans and turians don’t have the greatest relationship, explained part of what was up with the turian councilor’s attitude most of the time, and (for me) gave Garrus that much more flavor. By itself, though, I feel like it…
While it’s true that the release of this game was an absolute shitshow, I played it through on an XBox One S. There were some performance issues, sure, and it crashed more often than I’d prefer. But, I found that I enjoyed it. Ran across my share of bugs, too, but I can’t say as they ruined it.
