My wife had an ‘03 Focus ZX5 that I spent a lot of time in. I don’t recall the dash being particularly odd. It was made of that plastic they made Playmobil toys out of, but that was fairly typical for cars of that time period.

Whoa! That’s distressingly bad.
There’s a dead one in a field near me. It’s been there for probably 15 years.
I replied to the wrong comment and Kinja won’t let me move or delete it. That’s dumb.
You’re definitely right that ICE’s are an absolute shitshow in regards to how bad we know they are and how much we just haven’t bothered to find out, but we need to make sure we’re realistic about EV’s and not to act like they’re a gentle handjob to Mother Nature.
My iPhone did that for a while. It had something to do with inter-site tracking. I turned that on for this site and it fixed it. Doesn’t mean Kinja isn’t otherwise broken, though.
I can’t help but wonder if it’s just the company slowly trying to kill off the comments section for any of the number of reasons they don’t want it there. Never mind the folks who actually like being able to interact with one another instead of just a steady drip feed of ads with some articles interspersed between…
So, you’re going to argue that a control replacement that doesn’t actually work is fine and pointing out that it doesn’t work is a bit piece?
Maybe a steering wheel isn’t the best control for changing the angle of the front wheels in a car. Maybe it does need to be changed.
Wouldn’t calling your credit card company and having them issue a chargeback help with this problem?
The explanations in Prime 2 (the Ing mugging her) and Prime 3 (she was dying, Feds had to modify the hell out of her suit) made sense. The explanation in Prime was lame. A not very big explosion causes Samus to bonk against a wall and everything breaks? Huh? She regularly gets blown up or blasted with anime-style…
Hang on, the *door* is actually different for a manual window and lock equipped model?
In the current market, practically anything that moves under its own power is worth enough to blow that limit.
I guess I don’t know why you’d want to marathon the Borderlands games to prepare for the movie. It’s sounding more and more like the games and the movie only share a basic setting and some characters. Playing the games and then watching the movie just sets you up for the inevitable WTF moment when you realize that…

I’m looking at it now and it turns out that’s true, even though the configuration tries really hard to say otherwise. It says the “AWD with 2.0L EcoBoost Engine” is $3,305, but when you select only that and go down to the pricing summary, it lists $2,220 under “Options and Accessories.” They should probably fix that.
Are there really that many of those people anymore, though? One would think that if there were, somebody would make that truck for them to buy.
You’d think that’s cause mix issues due to it thinking it’s not up to temp, but if it all works fine, I’m not inclined to argue.
That is one ugly vehicle. Yech.
But they brought in the Ridgeline and Colorado. The Ridgeline is $16k more.
What the hell bags of groceries are you buying? A standard size grocery bag has a 12x7” footprint, at least according to a quick Google.
