Former Catholic here, and I think the analysis of the Church has to be a bit nuanced, it’s not GOOD or EVIL, but like most human things, a mix. The Church is responsible for atrocities, but they have done many positive things as well. They provide community for many lonely and abandoned folks, education and health…
