It involves a girl.

Sarrrrrr-casm. As if the iPad2 would've had TWO operating systems.

This five minute video just made me reconsinder my entire five year plan ahead of me and how I live it. Brilliant stuff.

Remember the good old days when umbrellas did nothing but shelter us from the rain?

Not a Thinkpad X201 Tablet? It's a brilliant piece of machine with a lovely battery to boot. Makes me jealous, sitting here with my X200.

After reading this comment I went ahead and read all the comments down to the very bottom. I highly regret this decision.

I spoil my computer with overclocked parts, beta software and cutting-edge releases of stuff, all running in Windows 7, and it has never once BSODded on me. Ever.

Oh my god. That back looks like the iPod Touch 4G. It also looks as if it's going to be glossy chrome. If it's glossy chrome, I will happily give up its superior power and go buy the original iPad.

I don't understand why parents would even accept this for their kid. I mean, fine, checking in at school is acceptible, but 'leaving for school' and '8pm'? Those two for me cross the line of big brother stalking.

thanks. Just discovered this. Awesome (I mean, I like the new layout, except it's not very Australian-friendly - 50% of the time I find the right bar links throw me into the Australian Gizmodo website, where the articles usually don't exist.)

Meanwhile, out in Australia, Nokia dumbphone sales still smash absolutely everything else - and out here their 'smartphones' are actually quite popular.

Do NOT buy an iPad. Do not pass GO. Do not lose $500.

Eh...easy.

@ehhblinkin: I probably could too. Presuming you know how to do the 5x5 and 7x7 with a similar method to each other as I do, so we got the upper hand here :D

I personally believe absolutely nothing is a right unless you are dependent on its survival. And thus, this miniscule list of 'rights' should be variable - whilst food and water and shelter will always be rights - when one's life depends on say, a car, that should be a right. Or a phone, to call emergency, that should

If the keys sat flush with the surface so you have a flat surface for the touchpad, and keys that are still perfectly type-able, then hell yes. Would be brilliant for laptops!

In Australia a couple years back our Government started the massive one laptop per student thing, for all students 9-12, except during pilot year, only year 9 got it. Anyway, it was like giving students a toy that you couldn't do anything with than work (which seems fair enough until you realise exactly how restricted

@That guy: Whilst obviously I support the notion of finding her a shrink and saving her life, restoring it to a position where she finds it worthy to live, I think also that people have the right to die. It's as much a human right as living.

@PlaidNinja: I too am disappointed in lack of hamster tourist photo.
