I thought Norman Lear knocked down the rule of "sitcoms = funny". Good Times and All in the Family could be damn serious on occasion. And today you have shows like Louie and You're the Worst which totally defy the idea of bringing on the funny.

You're right, Helen is no Caroline Ingalls. There are shades of her spoiled rich brat in her parenting, both in what she does and how she feels about them.

Maybe it's Toonces the Driving Cat? Although I don't think LI has any clifs.

I'm calling it: Whitney is driving and hits & kills Scotty.

Noah Solloway, Father of the Year…. leaving his eldest daughter in a coke-filled sex party after almost hooking up with her…and missing the birth of his youngest daughter fathered with the piece on the side. Very classy.

- Didn't Craig get two girls preggers? Or was it just Cassie? or was it KC?
- who hasn't killed a DeGrassi student? I'm pretty sure I accidentally killed a student back in '05 (it was a tough year)
- I'm liking where you're going with IS, although they have covered prejudice against Muslims.

I continue to root for #TeamJane, who should go on a man diet and focus on the things that don't keep screwing up her life.

I think him not saying anything is his perspective bring expressed. His version of events usually includes his children only when he's fixing their problems or when it directly relates to his situation. I think he loves his kids but in a very abstract way; his day-to-day life doesn't focus on them.

After Whitney whining about not being in the book, it's interesting to see Helen remember talking about Whitney skipping college to model, and Noah doesn't remember it as a highlight of the night.

I think in the first season they showing him having (or talk about it being over) an affiar with a student…?

Where the heck can you get TWO neon signs made in a day? And why bother getting two neon signs made if they only perform two rounds????

This show should get down on its knees and thank Science they added Mayim Bialik to the cast. Now that Amy isn't always quasi-lusting after Penny, Mayim is doing some great work. I'm glad they've dialed back a lot of the caricature from the past few seasons and let the actors be real sometimes.

I thought the reason Oscar Chow was portrayed in such a stereotypically gay manner is because it's supposed to be ridiculous that Connie didn't know he was gay when they "dated" in college. I don't think they meant to be reductive.

That's exactly what I thought. It seemed a better (un)happy medium than Pearl Jam (which isn't knocking PJ, I just mean it's more of a blend).

I ain't gonna lie; seeing Paris Geller beat Rory Gilmore makes me giddy with glee. She's gonna take the whole tournament because evil always triumphs over good (because good is dumb).

I'm gonna disagree that Josh had a bad T-giving. He had a scuffle with Valencia, resulting in rage banging then his relationship moving forward. Sure, there's a hint Valencia may not be the best roomie ever, but for now it's all good.

I wonder if they moved time along so quickly to make it possible for Jane and Rafael to get back together in a more believable way. Yet the whole thing with Michael was unbelievably quick. Meh. I'm still in favor of neither.

It will be interesting to see how/if the assistant appears in Noah's version of events. That will inform if it's just Alison's paranoia.

Thank you thank you thank you!!

So are there odds on Noah and the publicist shagging, or is it a given?????
