The real treasure was the memories we forgot along the way.

This feels like something Kyle Mooney would have done about 3 years ago.

The Mandalorian fucking sucks. It has some of the worst writing on TV this side of “Penny Dreadful: CoA.”  There are at least 30 more deserving shows that could have taken that slot.

At least he used that status to help do something good for his community. Hard to say something like that for most “Reality” stars.

Without the pioneering work of “MTV Reality Legends” we would never have “YouTube Stars”

How about we use the term “soul critter” instead?

the middleman here is ‘obvious sarcasm’

I like putting chips inside me

“there’s something quietly ugly in how the show depicts the public school environment (jokes about “the bad neighborhood” are hard to pull off without coming off dismissive)“

Haven’t watched it yet, but I noticed that 3 of the 10 episodes are 40 minutes or less. Artists are finally starting to figure out that a drama doesn’t have to be 45 minutes long with 3 act breaks (and a comedy doesn’t need to be 22 minutes long with 2 act breaks) when you are creating for a streaming platform. Also,

To give credit, the lasso moment felt like a Whedon moment. And as I mentioned to someone else already, I think there is a third potential option here which makes it so difficult to match that scene with either director. That might very well have been a Geoff Johns scene as I could very easily see myself reading a

“Kat”: so, one bad one versus all the absolute zeros that have been Snyder’s every single attempt to be funny, then?

Johns is an option. Honestly, I followed Whedon’s career for a while and, while I realize he would have been rushed to write something, this is not up to his usual standards.

One thing that has been noted about the (way more than the fan boys realized) cost of the Snyder Cut is that in some form or another, all of the actors are going to get paid again. It sounds like Snyder is re-editing, using unfinished footage, getting new VFX, but we have NOT heard of them doing any actual re-shoots

The Snyder cut’s going to be exponentially worse.

Welcome to 2020 and the rest of our lives.

Saga, just get them all. They have been on hiatus for a while so you will get up to speed for when they do start again. Definitely mature themes, but so wonderful!

It’s really good, but Hickman’s X-Men is still my favorite. The recent Mystique issue was awesome, and I absolutely loved the issue where Magneto, Charles, and Apocalypse met with world leaders!

Counter-argument: it’s such an integral part of x-men that it fits nicely to have it show up here. There’s always a bad future, always a sentinel deploying human populace, but this posits two important differences: first, that 900 years after, humanity has fully lost to mutantkind and second, that it seems like this

Would you like a hand moving those goalposts?
