I work for a musician and I’m here to shock y’all...sometimes they endorse stuff they don’t use/consume/care about. Yep. It’s the next Panama Papers.

All those over the knee boots are pleather?
“Influencing” is just another form of grifting, so the apples aren’t falling too far from the trees.
So all these fraudulently admitted students are going to be expelled, right?
Or in the case of Huffman or Loughlin, BEEN A GUEST STAR? ;)
ugh I had a roommate that would always run crying to her professor whenever she was failing a class, which was often (this was a party state school in the middle of nowhere, said roommate was a bit of a dummy). She would spend more time figuring out her prof’s office hours and how to sway him/her to let her pass than…
“b) that using your personal cell phone to do crime will get you caught every time. BURNER PHONES PEOPLE”
I don’t know about Felicity Huffman’s kid, but Lori Loughlin’s daughter definitely seems like the kind of person that would appear on FHBA Los Angeles.
This is certainly a lesson these “influencer” kids need to learn. No one would give a damn who they were if it weren’t for their parents. They, themselves, have done nothing.
This can boiled down to tax evasion. Millions of dollars in phony charity contributions and these folks didn’t think anyone would notice.
I’m so confused why the title of this post is playing into the “guns drawn” framing. If you want to argue that this should not be typical, that’s one thing, but she was treated no differently than anyone else. They do this shit every day.
This is not the point, but I’m always kind of baffled by kids who brag about how rich they are. Like, you’re not rich. You’ve never had a job. Your parents are rich. You have no money and no marketable skills. Who brags about dependence and luck?
USC is living up to its nickname:
Recently Macy said in an interview that he hoped his younger daughter took a year off to act before going to college because “God doesn’t let you be 18 twice.” He then went on to explain that by the time she finished college she’d be too old to audition for parts for 15- and 16-year olds and you only get that kind of…
Oddly enough, just about the only Kushner method that is legal. [I effing hate that this family of nobodies has tainted the good name of Tony K.]
So are any of the kids going to be expelled?
They don’t show up on your door unless they have a solid, and I mean SOLID, case against you. They can’t afford to look bad in court. So when they come for you, it’s mega-serious. And everyone knows this. That’s why there can be a lot of desperation.
It’s amazing how my opinion of the FBI has changed in recent years to America’s defenders against plutocrats and oligarchs.
Or just fucking donate to the school like normal rich, entitled assholes. Bribe schools the legal way. The Kushner way.
I wonder how many impoverished students were denied a place in USC to make way for these spoiled little shits? There SO MANY smart, talented students who worked their asses off hoping to get in, and who actually WANT to be there. Undoubtedly, many of these potential students are likely to make real contributions to…
