I could self-checkout way faster if I didn’t have to wait for the employee at least 3 different times per checkout. But no - I have to wait:

A) For them to verify that my reusable bags are OK (they are too heavy and trigger the machine)
B) Have them bring me the barcode for the refillable water machine (because it’s

My local Pick N’ Save (owned by Kroger and basically a Kroger clone) has 3 self checkout machines installed in the produce section (right by the entrance) that I’ve literally never seen turned on. And there is sometimes a 10 minute wait for the 3 self checkout stations (and 2 self checkout lanes) that are open.

I feel like the only thing we need less right now than a Richard Simmons biopic is a Pauly Shore comeback.

“Don’t Tell Mom the Babysitter’s Dead” remains one of my favorite movies from my childhood.

The first two seasons of Barry it was definitely a dark comedy. The third season of Barry was just dark. The fourth season I’m not even sure wtf was going on.

oof, I Googled him to see a more recent pic - he’s giving off strong Charles Manson vibes nowadays.

Same, very limited gaming time here. Anything that forces me to replay levels/sections of the game over and over is an instant buzzkill for me anymore. I don’t mind a challenge  - but I better be able to restart that fight in less than 10 seconds and get right back to it, and it better not be a 10-minute affair for

I’ve been playing BotW for 3 years now and still haven’t finished it. Like, the dungeons are short and boring, the bosses suck, I don’t like constantly having to fiddle with and replace my weapons and there’s just too much running around looking for stuff for my tastes. People are always like “well you can just skip

I’m torn - a lot of times short seasons leave me wanting more - which, I guess is a good thing, in a way - but also can be frustrating. But as annoying as those 8-10 ep seasons are I recently watched Abbot Elementary season 2 - which was I think 22 episodes? And that was the first 20+ episode season of anything I’ve

Working my way through season 2 and just watched Forks last night - but yeah, Fishes was a way better episode IMO. I was soo tense watching that episode waiting for the inevitable explosion.

They definitely could pace things out better and drink some water in between alcohol. Hopefully they are hydrating and eating something too and those parts just get edited out. But yeah, it doesn’t seem like they would need to get THAT drunk for the bit.  Maybe they should switch to edibles instead?

not the hotter younger” brother of Frasier”

Was that ever really supposed to be a part of Niles’ appeal?

That stood out to me too. Admittedly I haven’t gotten Little Skeezers in ~ 2 years now but the last time I did a hot and ready was $6.99 - a bump from the $5 they had for so long, but still stupid cheap. Even the fancy local places here are only $25-ish.

It means they spent an extra $250,000 to develop their own pink instead of just using an indistinguishable shade of pink that already existed.

I’ve never played a Bethesda RPG - but I was watching one of my favorite youtubers play it and it did seem kinda dull. I apparently wasn’t alone in that conclusion because he stopped playing it mid-game because the numbers for the series were so poor.

I’ve only been there twice - the first time it was really really good. The second time it was bland and greasy and disappointing so I haven’t been back since. I also didn’t like being forced to buy a bunch of food and drinks that I didn’t want and didn’t eat.

We went from “OK, that was a surprisingly tasteful final song assisted by AI” to “You know, I could crank out a few more of these” in record time.

OMG that clip. Who gave that the OK? Like, sure in a wide show or something maybe - but you can clearly see those “actors” and their freakish zombie mannequin mannerisms.

They were at one point - but both were a decade or more past their AAA status by the time Eternals came out.

Who is still shopping at GameStop? The last time I set foot in one was about 8 years ago and it was a sad, empty place then. Filled with more tchotchkes than actual games.
