I’m happy more and more Americans are coming around to the gender-neutral use of “cunt”.

Same with when something horrifically racist or violent occurs and you get that “this is not our country”. Yes it motherfucking is and even an incredibly cursory look at history will absolutely confirm that.

“That was not me last night.”

Black has been campaigning for Biden this year. The optics of Gass’ comment will have negative effects for Biden. I don’t think Jack Black is concerned about losing any fascist fans or a few bucks.

We live in the stupidest country in the absolute dumbest time in history. The Dark Ages look enlightened next to us. We deserve all the terrible things that are about to happen.

The same people who say “get over it” when classrooms full of children are slaughtered are now combing through social media posts to make sure everyone thinks this specific instance of gun violence is the one we need to burn the Constitution over.

Can we get a wellness check on Mr. T?

Dr. Ruth and Richard Simmons on the same day.  Farewell, legends.  The 80s really are over.

I miss people like Westheimer and Sagan being sensible on a show like Tonight. Very useful. in popularizing science. Fallon just doesn’t quite manage it somehow.

He had no reason to believe the gun wouldn’t fire. It wasn’t supposed to be loaded with live ammunition, period. The responsibility for ensuring there was no live ammo on set and in the device designed as a lethal weapon that was in perfect mechanical condition fell to the AD and the armorer, not Baldwin. SAG-AFTRA

Not a fan of Baldwin (the man, that is; plenty of good performances) but...good. The suggestion that he was responsible for not doing someone else’s job was ludicrous from the beginning.

It’s been noted from the start that this looked like a new DA trying to make a name for herself, and seriously overreaching.

Yeah, I had a similar reaction when that statement first hit. I found it to be thoughtful and genuine.

For what it’s worth, I think Jost and Che are pretty good. They have good chemistry together, which helps.

Tina Fey just laid it all out in an interview with Conan O’Brien. “It’s a schedule built around cocaine. Then the Seventies end. As far as I knew, nobody was doing cocaine when I was on the show, but they still kept the schedule.”

The worst part is probably his terrible actions.

How do you get Jeffrey Combs for the project, but not have him voice Rorschach? Dude was the Question in JLU, which is the whole basis for Ror in the first place...and it’s not like Titus is a voice/name that brings in more viewers.

See, now this really does feel like the AV Club of yore. An article where the writer has clearly had to suffer, significantly, for many many hours, in order to put together a retrospective that’s so much more insightful than the relative crap it’s covering deserves that the contrast is staggering.

Wait, where’s all the hand-wringing and blaming the consumers? We need another Nicole Kidman commercial reminding us that we the common folk should be putting our collective health on the line in the midst of a pandemic to save the movie theatres.

That’s not why it’s getting made. This is why:
