I guess because it's whole purpose was to destroy WEAPONS, yet you were forced to fight it and thus prevent it from doing so. But then it depends where you stand with the WEAPONS. Some people think they're doing good and protecting the planet.

Freespace 2 is one of the greatest games ever made IMO. There's still a strong community support for it with mods and stuff.

It was the song that made me fall in love with BSS but I think my inspiration for it being my username was more from when BSS just started out and were just KC Accidental. The KC is formed from first and last name initials of it's founding members, Kevin Drew and Brandan Canning :) Their music as KC was just beautiful.

That server status for Europe is just wrong though. EUW has been plagued with problems this month. Especially a few weekends ago where it was pretty much unplayable over for a few days. It's normally ok though but we definitely get shat on compared to other regions with the RP compensation when any issues do occur.
