I don't find any 3 second hard CC to be fair or balanced. There's should be limit on the length of stuns IMO.

you can mute enemies and teammates. Honestly though don't let the community put you off even trying the game. If you play it and it gets to you and makes you not want to play then fair enough but at the least try it out first!
