I was never excited for it in the first place. Every AvP and Aliens marine type game looks the same and there seems to be too many of them in the first place. They're fun enough but I'm just personally bored of them.

Not sure how that logic is so insane to you. I'm criticising what I have seen in the films which is also what came first and is the most canon you can get. It's funny that in A New Hope Obi Wan notes that the jawas must have been killed by Stormtroopers because "nobody elses aim is that precise". Really?! They don't hit a bloody thing all film! Their aim is as good as Transformers.

You mean in all that debatedly non-canon stuff? In the films the Empire is defeated and the whole universe rejoices. If you want absolute canon then it's the films and the films only. And since we're discussing the films I have to disregard the expanded universe stuff.
