That’s not exclusive to swimming - that’s every sport. In fact I would guess that two-thirds of young males that start coaching get into it because they want to hook up with younger women (or girls).

It’s different because Suhr coaches other athletes, not just his wife. Hosszu has all kinds of red flags - the late (for swimmers) career peak, being coached by her husband and his only athlete, and obviously her physique.

Hell, why not just give her the gold medal now? She’s the best ever in the world (one of the only Eastern Bloc-steroid era women’s world records that will ever be broken). Who cares if she actually has to win the race where they give out the medals?

Yeah, those incredibly stupid selection rules. How dare the US require that the first three people across the finish line at the Olympic Trials be the team they send to the Olympics! That’s crazy talk, it should be a subjective selection. That’s way simpler and would never cause any controversy.
