That’s like arresting someone for murder because they stopped to help the victim. This absolutely terrifies me.

And how many of those bankers and financial execs went to prison for their culpability in bringing about the Great Recession while shafting citizens and ruining untold lives?

This is a terrifying blow to democracy and should be the top story in every major news outlet, but it will be virtually ignored by most and celebrated by many.

Do they not even claim to have some sort of evidence for the expansion in the charges? This seems kind of crazy unless they’ve got video of him fucking shit up. How does this not get killed by the first judge it come in front of unless they have some smoking gun shit.

I’m a member of a travel nurse group on Facebook and there has been a deluge of people reporting that their contracts with the VA have been abruptly cancelled, some mid-contract and others after they’d moved to the location but before starting work. The explanation was “federal hiring freeze.”

Oh god please. Who the fuck is running against Walker in 2018? I’ve asked this again and again, and no one has any good possibilities. I’m terrified.
